Mgera Hospital

The next village we supported was Mgera in Tanzania. Mgera hospital has a big shortage of medical equipment and medicine. The village has only 4 medical workers who both work as doctor, nurse and midwife. They have to take care of 4 villages with 62.000 people!! Luckily, the project was a big succes!

Lewa Hospital

The second village we supported was Lewa Hospital in Tanzania. Lewa hospital has a big shortage of medical equipment and medicine. The village has only 2 medical workers who both work as doctor, nurse and midwife. They have to take care of 6 villages. Luckily, the project was a big succes!

Support Agnes in Gongo

After the first project in Gongo village, the health committee asked us for one last favor: to support Agnes. Agnes is a 3 year old girl with Down syndrome and suffers from a heart condition. Because of her heart, she has constantly difficulty breathing, fatigue and high risk of complications such as heart failure and stroke. Because of the financial state of the villagers and the fact that Gongo village is a 6 hour travel to the city, it is hardly possible to get proper healthcare for Agnes. So we took her to the hospital in the big city: Dar es Salaam.

Christmas Miracle

Gongo hospital, Tanzania

In December 2021 we created our first project: a Christmas Miracle for Gongo village in Tanzania. Gongo village has a big shortage of medical supplies and medicine. Vivienne visited Gongo for the first time in August 2021 and discussed together with the health committee the needs of the hospital in the village. Fahad had worked near Gongo village and was already familiar with the village.
